my thanksgiving tablescape

I'm so sorry I didn't get around to posting this yesterday, like I said I would, but I have come down with a nasty cold, so between my regular job, the simpler home series, and life in general, it just didn't happen. But, I feel like I'm just about to kick this just in time for the weekend!

So, without further ado, here is our Thanksgiving table that I am so excited about!
All of the linens are Threshold from Target, and good news if you love them, because they are on sale through tomorrow!!  We picked up these colors, because not only can we use them for this holiday meal, but also so many everyday meals.
I received this dinnerware set a few years ago for Christmas, and this is the first time I will be using them! Unfortunately, they are no longer available. :(
And here is the table with serving dishes.
When decorating a table for a big meal like this, I like to keep the decorations to a minimum, because there are so many dishes that need to go on here, anyway!  I got another one of those $10 promotional cards from Kohl's last week, and was able to pick up this centerpiece for $5!
You may or may not see one soon that looks like the same thing, but with Christmas decor, that I may or may not have bought a few years ago...
And, for those of you who have white plates, those look great with this setting as well!
Looks great, too! And, if you want something a bit fancier, go check out Dollar Tree right now! They have some beautiful white beaded-trim plates right now.  If I didn't already have holiday plates and white plates, I would own them!
I'm really looking forward to cooking my first turkey and hosting our first Thanksgiving!  Now I can go take all these dishes off my table, since they've been sitting there for days.

P.S. Are you ready for Thanksgiving?  I made this handy-dandy checklist to help you out!
